This kit is awesome. Contractor absolutely loved the quality of the kits and the great video resources for install. He states that he will be going with this system going forward for any future bathroom projects. For me, Tom was super helpful in helping design the exact setup for my bathroom remodel with two separate inches. When I received the kit, I immediately asked Tom to send me the vanity kit to take it over the top. Thanks Tom and Thunder Bunny LED for making my bathroom remodel fun and exciting to see complete. Hands down a solid conversation piece when project is complete.

I’m a remodeling contractor, and between myself and my customer, we were looking for a lighting kit for a custom niche, that did not make us buy a foam niche box with light, like Schluter for about $420+.and does not include the cable ($49.39) and power supply $153.89 (transformer), which is insane to think what the total cost would be with tax and shipping. Customers what affordable/ reasonable lighting options, and if the Schluter lighting kit plus all the extra parts costs about $700, and the install cost another $500-$700, not because the electrical work at the niche takes alot, but because getting a switched source of power to the niche takes some planning/work. So, I was happy to hear the client decided to go with Thunder Bunny for the lighting kit, and it was reasonably priced, so by the time I had to add a larger switch box for another switch (not always required), switched outlet box under the sink, and ran the low voltage wire through the wall to the shower, and did all the niche electrical work, the total cost was basically $1,000 plus the cost of the Thunder Bunny Kit. Just how important is the niche lighting? It makes a pretty great statement, so that’s up to you. You can buy special rims for your car, or you can buy a lighting kit for your shower you get to look at and enjoy every day for years to come. The only thing I wish Thunder Bunny would change or have a solution to is the power supply junction box area to allow more room for wiring work, and some way to be code legal as far as how to connect to the power supply to the junction box under a sink area. Do you just offer/include a cord with plug? Exposed Romex/NM-2 cable isn’t code legal. Other options can be tricky to make it look good, and be simple enough for D.I.Y. I recorded video of the entire process, and should eventually get around to editing a Youtube video about the install, and include the time for all the various aspects of the process.
